Within the nuclear sector they have an exceptional reputation for delivering innovative, cost-effective business and engineering solutions to owners, operators, regulators and suppliers to nuclear licensed sites.

The Role:
Key responsibilities for the role will include:

•C&I equipment specification, assessment and justification;
•Front End Engineering Design package generation;
•Project cost, time control and reporting;
•Liaison with clients, suppliers and contractors;
•Developing the capabilities of our E, C & I teams,
•Building relationships with new and existing clients to develop further project opportunities.
•We are looking for individuals with the ability to lead, mentor and develop teams, who are capable of growing the EC&I business. Determination and drive to succeed is essential, as is the ability to develop strong networks with our client and within our organisation.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•We would expect you to be chartered, have a good relevant engineering degree and be able to demonstrate sound technical experience.
•You will have experience in at least two of the following: ◦Conventional/nucleonic instrumentation;
◦Safety Instrumented Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, Fire Detection Systems;
◦Safety standards (IEC 61508, 61511, 61513), SIL categorisation & safety lifecycle;
◦Availability, Reliability and Maintainability;
◦Fault trees, FMEA, HAZOP knowledge;
◦Automation system design.

•Have clear and concise report writing skills
•Proven design experience; including concept, optioneering, detailed, construction phases.
•Experience of managing and developing small teams of engineering and technical staff.
•Demonstrate practical experience of managing engineering and technical projects in demanding, regulated environments and industries from design through to commissioning and operation.
