The Role:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Production of calculations, technical notes, requisitions, specifications, and similar deliverables;
• Development of electrical power distribution concepts, SLD, schematic diagrams, electrical layouts, hazardous area classification layouts;
• Technical support to projects (ranging from feasibility studies through to EPCM portfolios and larger stand alone projects);
• Technical supervision of electrical designers and draftsmen;
• Control of electrical design budget and schedule;
• Preparation of man-hour estimates to perform project tasks based on tender scope documents;
• Coordinate technical reviews with other WorleyParsons and site locations and managing work-share as required;
• Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Darwin and NOP Quality Assurance System and HSE requirements.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
at least 8 years broad experience as an Electrical Engineer. This should include both office based and on-site exposure with a mixture of design, construction and commissioning familiarity;
a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering that is acceptable for admission as a member to Engineers Australia and be a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ).
be familiar with the use of Microsoft office programs

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Hazardous Area Competency is highly desirable;
An understanding of various engineering software programs would be an advantage.
