The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
To lead and coordinate the electrical studies of the project.
To supervise LNG plant FEED design of relevant discipline and provide assistance/support to pre-commissioning and commissioning/start-up preparation teams.
To ensure PLANT electrical design consistency, optimization, operability and flexibility which implies interfaces management and leadership towards other packages, such as wellpads and marine port.
To ensure that PLANT FEED design of electrical discipline complies with S.O.R., contract documentation, schedule, budget and safety practices.
To avoid LNG plant FEED design contractor stand-by/delays by prompt response to engineering queries or/and request for waiver (if any) and unexpected technical issues, by a proactive and proefficient approach
To monitor and highlight the interfaces within the LNG plant FEED packages (in particular with technical safety, civil and control systems disciplines) and with the other packages of the PLANT in relation to electrical discipline.
To participate in technical reviews during the FEED design execution: to provide support and expertise and contribution on electrical issues.
To ensure proper reporting, highlighting critical issues to the Engineering Manager and proposing remedial actions.
To contribute to improving the project lessons learnt and personnel skills.
To contribute to the advancement of working methods and tools within his speciality.
To advise the Engineering Manager on solutions to electrical issues.
Ensure that the design of installations meets the requirements of the project specifications, Safety Concept, S.O.R and other related documents.
Guarantee the quality of electrical studies and associated deliverables. Monitor and coordinate the LNG plant FEED Contractor and guide the design of the installations by close participation in the design activities, review and comment on the corresponding FEED deliverables.
Participate in technical meetings, challenge the Contractor, monitor and promote cost saving solutions in the design. Promote alternatives for electrical design to optimize works and schedule.
Report to Engineering Manager on progress of his activity and on changes to basis for design, in particular as early as possible when anticipated, anticipate problems in his disciplines and inform Engineering Manager.
Ensures that electrical part of all engineering activities are performed in order to execute project as per Company know-how, with required level of quality, safely and with respect of environment, within the agreed time schedule and cost.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Diploma: Chartered Engineer with proven experience in electrical design (power generation with gas turbines driven electrical generators and distribution), EMCS, heat tracing and cathodic protection.
Professional experience: 15 years. Specialist with extensive experience of LNG projects and large onshore projects, electrical application in artic conditions.
Good teamwork, strong minded.
Fluent in English.
