The Company:
The client is a leader within the Automation and Control Systems field with operations in 100 countries worldwide. They specialise in providing integrated solutions to the Transmission and Distribution and Oil & Gas industry with projects offshore and overseas.

The Role:
Experienced, pro-active Electrical Engineer required to assist Lead Engineer to coordinate various 3rd party equipment and LER (Local Equipment Room) vendors for a major pipeline project.
Experience with working for / with Oil and Gas EPC Contractors Preferred.
Engineer should have 8-10 years’ experience in a similar role and shall be qualified to HNC/HND/Degree Level in Electrical Engineering.

Job / role:
Shall take ownership of assigned packages (LV Distribution / UPS / Utilities) and liaise with remote engineering / design facility resource as required.
Act a package lead and manage all technical liaison with vendor.
Has knowledge and experience of integrating Electrical, Instrument, Control and Mechanical Scopes.
Has experience of FAT / SAT / Commissioning of Electrical Equipment in an Oil / Gas / Chemical environment.
Able to prepare Technical Specifications, Reports, Schedules and Scope of Work Documents.
Able to develop close working relationships with the Project Manager and Telecom / SCADA Teams.
Able to work within a multi-cultural and multi-discipline environment.
Is willing to travel to Vendor Sites in Europe and Turkey as required for Progress Meetings / FATs.
Able to participate in project meetings and deputise for Lead Engineer when required.
Able to work to set deadlines and is able to manage own workload accordingly.
Able to develop strong internal and external relationships with project key stake holders internally and externally.
Able commercially aware and is able to identify engineering change.
Shall consider Health, Safety and Environmental aspects at all times.
