The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role

Role is responsible for managing and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of compliance activities associated with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals (REACH) Regulation and other environmental legislations within the Aftersales Department including cross-function processes.
The aim of this role is to ensure robust control and alignment, of current compliant process; with Group activities with a view to fostering potential legislation changes and/or updates. Duties include analysing and mainly implementing processes, and managing resources and activities to comply with the REACH Regulation and other environmental legislations.

Scope of the Role

• Ensure implementation of activities to maintain compliance with REACH Regulation and other environmental legislations (e.g. Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHs)) that affect Aftersales
• Review current processes against Group practices and be responsible of carrying out the required steps towards alignment, joint goal setting and integrated decision making
• Ensure that Safety Data Sheets and labelling (Format, data, language, etc…) remain compliant with current legislation and organise alignment of the process with Group
• Analyse, identify and deliver the best solution to control hazardous material/components, e.g. the System Analysis and Program Development (SAP) Module (Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S))
• Review current system codes, data cleansing and additions, as well as potentially system interface updates, and make sure that they deliver the requirements
• Responsible for delivering/completing the identified next steps and that they are sustainable for the future
• Organisation of and attendance at, reoccurring meetings to present and inform about progress and recommendations to Aftersales Senior Management

Experience & Qualifications

• Chemical or Chemical engineering background
• Previous experience working with legislative or similar information.
• Demonstrated project management experience and a track record of project delivery
• Ability to interpret complex requirements into clear actions and deadlines
• Excellent written Skills
• Analytical thinker
• Presentation skills
• German language desirable
• IT literate (Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint, etc...)
• Attention to detail
• Self-starter
