The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer and is currently experiencing an upturn in production with demand increasing globally.

The Role:
Scope
Reporting to the Functional Manager for Comfort and Safety. The Senior Mechatronics Engineer is responsible for the Management of the Mechatronics team to deliver agreed functional targets and meet all project requirements for all Mechatronics systems across all vehicle variants.


Key Responsibilities
Control and ensure delivery of functional project within agreed project targets in conjunction with the project team.
Liaise with VW and Audi group colleagues to share knowledge.
Keep up to date with new legal and legislative requirements.
Provide support to other non engineering functions for Mechatronics Systems.
Responsible for PDRs of Engineers in the Mechatronics Team.
Responsible for providing budget data to FM to support delivery of Mechatronics Systems.
Provide technical input into new projects.

Qualifications
A relevant Mechanical, Electronics or Mechatronics degree. Equivelant industry experience will be considered.



Previous Experience
Flexible team player, able to liaise at all levels within the organisation.
Excellent co-ordination and organisation skills.
Good communication skills, written and verbal.
Appropriate experience in engineering delivery role.
German language knowledge is advantageous
