The Company:

The Role:
Well Performance engineers Management
Identify training requirements and participate to recruitment interviews.
Supervises & coaches Well Performance Engineers :
work direction and technical guidance
checking work/studies progress
setting priorities and time schedules
Validating works & recommendations before internal/external release

Well & production modelling
Ensure well models are built & kept updated with latest well tests & reservoir data
Know & track which well models are making problems.
Regularly liaise with Well Performance Engineers to go into the details & check / validate methodology & assumptions of well modelling.
On major declines, spend some time with Well Performance Engineers to analyse decline & propose explanation / way forward.
Ensure documented & analysed remedial actions following well production anomalies.
Ensure GAP models are built & kept updated on the 3 Operated Assets.
Regularly QA/QC GAP / models playing with various assumptions.
Ensure that GAP / models are used to proactively detect production bottlenecks.

Well testing and sampling for allocation
Coordinate well testing & allocation process. Ensure optimum communication with all involves entities. Ensure wells are tested, validated, processed and saved in the well test database. Ensure allocation samples are taken and analysed. Ensure rapid turnaround. Manage any well tests concerns & ongoing mitigations.

Wells potential
Ensure Production Guidelines are issued every time required (up to once a week).
QA/QC Production Guidelines, understanding & challenging variations.
Validate Production Guidelines before release.

Well interventions
Track every opportunity to insert well interventions.
Have a permanent full knowledge of proactive approach of operational activities (Drilling/ Completion / Operations / Projects).
Attend long term planning meetings (90 days and 18 months).
Ensure well intervention slots are secured in all planning, especially in corporate planning.
Ensure priority list is kept updated, based on expected gains & way forward.
Validate & officially issue the monthly update of well intervention prioritisation.
Ensure that GSR, WCM and OPS requirements are taken into consideration in well intervention requirements and prioritisation.
Ensure accurate & detailed Well Service Requests are issued on time before the jobs.
Ensure accurate & detailed Post Job Summaries are issued less than a month after the jobs.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree in Petroleum Engineering or Reservoir Engineering or Well engineering
• experience in well operations / well performance role and also experience in a reservoir engineering role
