The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Our client is looking for a Senior Environment Advisor to support the Gas Export Pipeline Pre-commissioning scope of work.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• This position will look to deliver the various Environment Approvals documentation and prepare for the on-going compliance of those approvals in accordance with project schedule
• The role will also provide support to the delivery of the Offshore facilities Operations and IHUC Environmental approvals

• Develop strategies, schedules, and execution plans as required for any environmental approvals required for the Gas export pipeline pre-commissioning scope of work

• Manage performance of consultants/contractors to deliver information required to complete Environmental Plans
• Undertake and / or participate in environmental audits and inspections as required Fulfil company reporting requirements
• Track environmental compliance
• Respond to technical queries
• Manage change requests and variations
• Participate in mandatory Company training
• Provide advice on Australian environmental legislation and seek legal advice where clarity is required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
In order to be considered you will have the ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:

• Degree in environmental science or engineering
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in Oil and Gas Projects or Operations
• Demonstrated ability to write and/or manage delivery of Environment and Regulatory plans for Oil and Gas Projects

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Ability to support the Offshore vision by implementing the strategies, writing the plans, delivering the targets and objectives, and communicating our Environmental performance
• Ability to solicit and evaluate information from several diverse sources, then reach a timely and balanced decision on how to proceed
