The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide. In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Our client is looking for a Senior Environmental Advisor with experience of Gas Export Pipelines to work on one of their major projects.

The role will include:
Providing technical environmental expertise to both the company and contractors with regards to pipeline construction/ commissioning. This will include preparation and review of documents, processes, procedures and environmental plans.
Participating in risk assessments (including HAZIDs and ENVIDs) and Environmental Impact Assessments, to identify environmental risks related to GEP construction and associated dredging and spoil disposal.
You will also be required to coordinate the submission of environmental documents, and provide advice to contractors on environmental management systems and procedures, and to seek legal clarification when required.
On top of providing technical expertise, you will also be required to develop and implement compliance procedures to include but not limited to:
Monitoring contractor environmental permits and licences.
Verifying contractor performance against appropriate legislative requirements, and also against the company’s environmental requirements.
You will also ensure that contractors deliver and implement an Environmental Management System that is aligned to ISO14001.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this role you will have a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering (or similar).
Experience in the development and implementation of Environmental Management Systems and at least 8 years experience working on major Oil & Gas construction projects.
