The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
An opportunity for a Senior Environmental Advisor based in Darwin , the role can either be on a FIFO basis or residential based in Darwin city. Under the direction of the Site Environmental Manager,

Duties & Responsibilites are;

• To provide specialist environmental advice relevant to the construction and commissioning of the onshore LNG facilities for the Project.
• Provision of advice, technical assistance and environmental support to company’s onshore construction and engineering teams.
• Review and interpretation of engineering and technical drawings to assess environmental aspects and impacts during construction.
• Review and assessment of environmental management documentation relating to onshore construction and commissioning activities.
• Preparation and execution of environmental impact monitoring work packages, including the review and interpretation of data, reports and modelling results; monitoring program data management.
• Development and implementation of management controls for surface water, dewatering, wastewater treatment and water source protection.
• Review of contractor documentation to acquire company construction environmental approvals.
• Support the development and delivery of environmental training packages, including inductions.
• Assist with the delivery and implementation of integrated solutions to environmental risks, in collaboration with construction engineering.
• Provision of support to field based monitoring activities by contractor.
• Provide specialist environmental support as required for environmental approvals.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this role you will hold a bachelor degree in Environment (or equivalent), have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following:

• Environmental impact assessment and preparation of environmental management plans.
• Acting in a senior role within a large scale Greenfield projects.
• Sound understanding of tropical environments and climates.
• Sound understanding of the oil, gas or resources business.
