The Role:
Project: Greenfield Development Projects

•Senior Expeditor to assist Project Managers and Project Teams in managing all activities pertaining to procurement and subsequent expediting of materials and equipment related to new Field Development activities;
•Communicate with vendors and report to Project Management Team on material and equipment delivery dates, interface and coordinate with Project Technical Authorities and Head of Procurement on all vendor technical and commercial queries respectively;
•Oversee all downstream Project procurement activities including internal/external co-ordination of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT’s) as well as third party expediting and inspection, in conjunction with the Project QA/QC Engineer and in accordance with project and company procedures.
•Follow-up with Vendors to ensure strict adherence with PO schedule / progress / costs requirements.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Degree or Diploma in Technical Engineering Subject.
•Additional qualifications in relevant Supply Chain subjects would be an advantage

•Minimum 15 Years experience in offshore oil and gas industry and a track record of having held Senior Expediting roles on major EPCI projects.

•Strong international procurement experience, with major manufacturers, vendors and suppliers.
•Good knowledge of local and international Procurement laws and procedures.
•Strong knowledge of Procurement techniques, procedures and policies.
•Strong knowledge of sources of supply, market trends and pricing practices.
•Conversant with Oracle and Microsoft Office applications.
•Strong negotiation skills, with attention to details.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Strong command of spoken and written English

•High degree of commercial awareness with good understanding of the impact of various factors on business.
•Good decision-making. Able to tackle issue/problems based on through analysis and evaluation of possible options.
•Strong relationship building and networking ability.
