The Company:
The client is a unique and sustainable Canadian integrated energy company. This opportunity is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents, first consideration will be given to residents of Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Role:
This position will undertake field studies and technical evaluations of the client’s operated and joint venture activities on the East Coast.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Supporting the operational asset team, regional and Exploration & Production managers to deliver the Client’s business targets by:
• Delivering a high standard of technical work
• Delivering geophysical work for asset team, asset management and joint venture partners on time and within budget
• Providing geophysical advice for asset team and management
• Providing recommendations to maximize value in the client’s assets and expand Exploration & Production asset base

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree in Geology or Geophysics with 10+ years experience in production, development or exploration geophysics
• Operated experience in offshore settings and production/development geophysics in Atlantic Margin settings is an asset
• Understanding of modern 3D seismic interpretation techniques is essential
• Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills who have the ability to adapt behaviours to work effectively in a team based environment
