Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
An opportunity is available for a Senior Health and Safety Engineer to join the Health, Safety and Security within Upstream Platform Contractor Scopes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with coordinating the Upstream Incident and Injury Free program / culture into client and Contractors work programs including coordination of the Upstream IIF Schedule.
• Coordinate the Upstream Contractor HES Management process for Platform contracts.
• Assist in the development and review of client HES required documentation for Client team members mobilizing to work site locations e.g. HES Plans, Emergency Response Plans, Motor Vehicle Safety Risk Assessments and Plans.
• Coordinate Upstream Platform Contractor HES Verification Plan reviews.
• Assist with implementation of the Upstream Training Plan across client team members in Perth and at site.
• Support the implementation of the Safety, Health, Environment, Reliability and Efficiency for Platform execution during Phase 4.
• Participate in Client and Contractor Safety Case reviews for submission to regulator.
• Assist with Safety Case implementation and monitoring at client and Contractor facilities.
• Lead Incident Investigations and Root Cause Analysis on behalf of Upstream.
• Participate in the Upstream HES Audit Schedule as an Audit Team Member.
• Participate in Safety Leadership Team Meetings with Contractor both in Perth and at Site.
• Ensure Contractor Monthly KPI reports meet required contract requirements before being issued to the company.
• Participate in Contractor key activities e.g. HAZID Workshops, Document Reviews, Mobilisation Inspections.
• Help deliver Contractor HES commitments to achieve strong HES performance during Phase 4 execution activities.
• Write HES Reports and HES Management Plans suitable for Phase 4 field activities. Health, Safety, Environment and Security Management Support
• Interface and Networking within project as or when required.
• Interface with central HES teams as or when required in the project office and at site.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education: Tertiary Education (Degree qualified)
Experience: The preferred candidate will have 10+ years experience, ideally within the Oil and Gas industry gained on large major capital projects associated with offshore production facilities.

• H&S Management System development and implementation
• Communication and Presentation Skills
• Contractor Management and Interfaces (specifically with H&S bias)
