The Company:
Our client, who is constructing a large LNG project, is seeking a Sr. Helpdesk/Desktop Support Analyst to join their team!

The Role:
Provide timely resolution of user requests for help and other services, assist in maintaining inventory of spare parts, provide technical support for end users and prepare hardware for new employees and contractors. Assist in the creation and upkeep of IT documentation and procedures and other knowledge repositories. Contribute to the development of policies pertaining to the help desk and desktop support.

Essential Functions & Duties/Responsibilities

-Utilize the IT Help Desk in Trac ensuring that user requests are handled promptly and that users are satisfied with resolutions
-Work with others on the Help Desk & Support team to provide backup when gaps in coverage occur
-Resolve software and hardware based technical issues on desktops, laptops, handheld devices, printers etc
-Maintain expectations of support requestors around ETA, any impacts repairs may have and follow up to ensure issue resolution
-Escalate issues outside area of expertise to a subject matter expert (SME) when applicable
-Assist in ensuring data backup and integrity
-Ensure items under warranty have warranty requests processed and completed by the vendor
-Help ensure that spare parts inventory is maintained at each FLNG site (HQ, plant, CB&I) by complying with inventory control practices. Employ housekeeping practices to ensure that storage areas are tidy, accessible and items can be found with ease.
-Update logs of disposed hardware
-User Training
-Maintain Help Desk Scenarios procedures for troubleshooting
-This position will provide On-Call and Emergency Response duties to business critical applications, help desk support and associated infrastructure as necessary.
-Adhere to all IT policies
-Maintain Key Relationships within and outside the Company

HSE Roles and Responsibilities

-Support the policies, efforts, and programs of Freeport LNG Health, Safety and Environmental Management System. Actively participate in the HSE Management System Policies. Ensure that HSE concerns are given priority in all activities completed within their area of responsibility. Implement routine inspections to ensure safe operating conditions.

Working Conditions & Physical Expectations

-Primarily a typical office environment
-Stand and/or sit continuously and perform job functions for a full shift.
-Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility.
-Able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions.
-Physically able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
-Visual acuity corrected to perform job functions.
-Ability to distinguish color to perform job functions.
-Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
-Possible exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid or windy weather conditions.
-Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds of a pitch level sufficient to cause marked distraction.
-Exposure to moving mechanical parts and electrical circuits.

-Computer Service (5+ years)
-Customer Support (5+ years)
-Enterprise Support Experience (5+ years)
-Help Desk Systems Administration (5 years)
-Plant-site experience (1 years)
-Experience with network and telecommunication systems in a large enterprise environment.
-Experience in Active Directory, Windows Networking, and Windows operating systems.
-Experience in Large Scale System Software Deployment.
-Experience in Systems Imaging and Windows Sysprep.
-Knowledge in TCP/IP.
-Knowledge of DNS.
-Knowledge of RSA SecurID, Blackberry, Citrix, Exchange, AD and other similar technologies and tools.
-Knowledge in Microsoft Domain model.
-Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office technologies.
-Application installation and troubleshooting experience in server/client applications.
