The Company:
Our client is an International Oil & Gas Operator

The Role:
The purpose of this role is to support the HR Manager, Senior HR Advisers and HR Advisers in both London and Aberdeen by undertaking specific projects across a wide range of HR areas of activity and influence – including Resourcing, Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Training & Development, Performance Management, International Mobility, Offshore Operations and Employee Relations.

• Provide first point of contact HR expertise, knowledge and skills to Managers and staff within the company to ensure that they have the support needed to achieve their general day to day activities relating to people management
• Provide HR knowledge and input to any cross functional project teams
• Lead and deliver on special projects that may be assigned relating to any aspect of HR service delivery
• Provide general support to HR colleagues within any part of UK business as needed.
• Manage future workload for specific special HR projects as designated, within project management framework. Ensure project plans are prepared and agreed and budgets submitted. Manage progress to ensure deliverables are achieved on time and to budget.
• Provide relevant HR input (knowledge and experience) to projects to ensure consistency is maintained across EPI and within GaS UK.
• Support the HR Analyst and HR Adviser for International Mobility on routine and ad hoc duties depending on their workload and needs of the department.
• Undertake Recruitment activities from Job Description drafting to interviewing and selection, up to senior level positions within the company.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Graduate in any discipline
• CIPD Qualified (preferable)
• Minimum of five years’ post qualification experience, (preferably gained in an upstream company environment) within a medium to large international company. (Maximum of 10 years’ experience).
• Must have a current working knowledge of UK employment law and a basic knowledge of UK tax (PAYE) and NIC
• Must be highly IT literate and able to manipulate data in spread sheets, and format documents and slide presentations to a high standard
