The Role:
The UK Decommissioning Project EHS Coordinator is responsible for providing and/or coordinating all EHS activities for the UK Decommissioning Project, in accordance with the companies corporate policies and the companies Management System. The incumbent will develop and implement Safety and Health programs in order to maintain a safe, hazard/accident free workplace and to ensure compliance with the company’s policies/procedures and with local, regulations. In addition, the role will provide overall coordination of environmental activities, and verification activity.
The role reports functionally to the UK Operations EHS Senior Specialist, is a member of the Project leadership team with project execution accountability to the Project Manager.

• Develop and maintain the Project EHS&SR Management Plan.
• Provide the Project Manager with assurance regarding EHS&SR performance, risks and delivery.
• Undertake regular operational site visits, and facilitate/coach the Project leadership in doing the same.
• Manage the overall Project risk management process, specifically ensuring that the Project maintains its risk register/matrix and
associated detailed risk management plans.
• Provide specialist input to specific technical and operational risk assessments.
• Provide specialist input to Contractor prequalification, selection and onboarding/engagement activities.
• Develop and maintain appropriate bridging arrangements with Contractors, which fully reflect and comply with relevant Permits,
Licenses and Consents.
• Ensure that Project activities are fully integrated into Company UK Operations ER arrangements, with appropriate testing and
exercising undertaken.
• Support incident reporting and investigation activity within the Project.
• Develop and coordinate an appropriate risk based audit programme for the Project.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Competent in Risk Management, Contractor Management and Audit/Assurance.
• Effective interpersonal, leadership and coordination skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Must be familiar with basic Microsoft office software.
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
• Ability to influence and train others in EHS programs.
• Ability to work for short periods offshore.
• EHS experience in E&P operations.
• Prior experience in sub-sea and drilling activities in the North Sea an advantage.
• Degree in relevant Discipline, Chartered Member of Engineering Institution or equivalent.
