The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.

In Australia they are involved in one of the largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Stage.

The Role:
You will have responsibility for the continuing development and implementation of the Company's Australia Health, Safety and Environmental Management System (HSE MS), HSE MS IT tools and related project specific MS and contract documents.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•Develop, prepare, update and maintain HSE MS supporting documentation.
•Support package managers and package HSE advisors to develop and implement the HSE MS at project level.
•Support the development and delivery of HSE training packages in conjunction with the HSE Training Coordinator.
•Work with IT to develop and implement SAP EHS tools to support the HSE MS.
•Plan and lead internal and external HSE MS audits and incident investigations.
•Provide input into supporting business process and activities
•Work with colleagues to deliver integrated solutions to HSE risks.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Extensive experience in the development of HSE management systems with a major petroleum company.
•Good understanding of the offshore oil & gas industry, ideally from a corporate and project perspective
•Experience in implementation of HSE systems and building HSE capability and competence in a new company and / or startup project.
•Good understanding of the Australian safety regulation frame work
•Knowledge of OHSAS 18000, AS4801, ISO 14000 management system standards
•Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to network effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization
•Experience of safety culture development and behavioral based safety tools and systems would be beneficial.
