The Role:
Plan and supervise the development, training and implementation of an effective environmental management, pollution prevention and control program, health risk assessment, personal health management programs, health/medical surveillance and analysis. Health & Environment management assurance audit to achieve a high level of health and environment standard in all areas of operations as required Company policy and statutory requirements.

Provide advice to the development of policies & procedures, review drafts & obtain management approval. Supervise & participate in environment risk assessment inspections & audits to ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with Company policies, Government regulations and best industrial practices.

Responsibilities
•Plan and supervise compliance to all Company HSE policies/standards, and legislative requirements related to the health & environment by ensuring that the Health & Environmental Standards, environmental manual/procedures and to achieve a healthy working environment and minimize/eliminate incident detrimental to health of company’s and contractor’s personnel working within CPOC operations.
•Plan and supervise the implementation of health & environment plans and programmes to achieve a high health & environmental performance.
•Provide health & environmental related advice, guidance and support to the HSE and line managers in meeting the HSEMS responsibilities/ accountabilities.
•Plan and supervise training to enhance competency and skills in environmental management for relevant personnel, and ensure highest level of preparedness in emergency response (oil spill) through regular exercise and drills.
•Identify and monitor the implementation & compliance to all company HSE policies and legislative requirements related to occupational health & hygiene, ensuring that relevant health manual/procedures are developed, updated and implemented.
•Supervise the development and maintenance of an effective environmental and health database, analysis of data and areas for improvement.
•Plan and supervise incident investigation, health & environmental related audits/inspection, ensure that root causes and non-compliances are identified and properly mitigated to avoid recurrence.
•Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in health & environmental performance to the management.
•Review engineering design for new or modified company facilities of which health & environmental mitigation measures are incorporated.
•Plan and supervise health & environmental awareness programme with the local communities and authorities to maintain good rapport.

Requirement
•A recognized degree preferably in environment/engineering
•8 – 10 years in environment management with at least 5 years of supervisory level in the oil & gas industry.

•Experience Lead Auditor ( ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 )
