The Role:
The Role:
-Work closely with the Petroleum Regulatory team to ensure delivery of excellent performance within required timeframes
-Assist with monitoring compliance with existing regulatory requirements, and identifying new and emerging requirements
-Develop and maintain management tools, processes and procedures to support regulatory function in Petroleum
-Provide technical competence regarding computer software tools to facilitate effective communication and awareness materials are developed as required

Responsibilities:
•Provide general administrative and technical assistant support to the Regulatory function in Petroleum HSE
•Develop on-the-job awareness of the relevant legislation, regulations, standards, company procedures, health and safety aspects, and industry best practices
•Assemble and file detailed, technical documents to specification as regulatory submittals
•Develop and maintain schedule of compliance actions and insure information is obtained to meet filing requirements within deadlines
•Compile weekly and monthly reports and monitor completion of pending items; assist with action tracking efforts as appropriate
•Assist in the preparation of briefing documents and presentations to management and agencies
•Work independently to research, gather and summarize supporting documentation on various topics as required
•Assist with organizing and coordinating technical meetings, workshops, and awareness sessions, including agency meetings

Basic Purpose:
-Provide general administrative and technical support to the newly created Regulatory function in Petroleum HSE:
-Compile large regulatory submittals to indicated specifications and arrange for delivery within required deadlines
-Support development of briefing materials (e.g., powerpoint slide packs) for use with senior management and line regarding regulatory/permitting status/issues
-Coordinate system to maintain hard copy and electronic documents as required
-Conduct research and prepare summaries and overviews on various topics in support of regulatory activities as appropriate Key Relationships (including functional reporting)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or higher preferred
•HSE experience, especially in oil & gas industry, is a plus
•Proficient in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Office); working knowledge of Access is a plus; ability to learn company specific applications
•Any experience supporting oil and gas operations through the use of electronic data management systems/software preferred
•Knowledge of Oil and Gas terminology; any working knowledge of legislation, regulation, standards and best practices is a plus
