The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Stage.

The Role:
Our client is currently recruiting for a Senior ICSS Engineer to deliver a suitable ICSS design for the Floating Storage Production and Offloading (FPSO) facility

Initally based in our London office, with relocation to Asia in 2012, the key responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
• Specify and select ICSS specifications and equipment including process control, safety instrumented system, fire and gas system, HIPS system and Asset management system
• Support and advise the project team and contractors on ICSS system design, construction and offshore hookup and commissioning of the FPSO to meet project requirements
• Prepare technical reports and presentations as required
• Ensure project specifications are complied with and deviations are substantiateed in line with project procedures
• Organise, manage and control third party support studies as required
• Assist in identifying project risks and implement agreed mitigation meaures as required
• Ensure project deliverables and activities associated with the FPSO design are achieved in accordance with project milestone dates, budget and technical requirements of BOD
• Provide guidance and input into Contractor strategies/procedures and specifications with respect to ICSS system for design, procurement, construction, installation and offshore hookup and commissioning of FPSO

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary Engineering Degree
• Minimum 15 years experience in process control and safety system design of Offshore Oil and Gas Facilities preferably with some experience associated with Floating Facilties
• Have detailed understanding and knowledge of ICSS System design including process control, safety instrumented system, fire & gas system, HIPS system and asset managment system
• High awareness of safe working practices
• Ability to work with different disciplines and cultures
