The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Client is currently recruiting for a Senior ICSS Engineer - SPS Package. The function of this position is to, under the direction of SPS Control System Project Engineer, deliver an ICSS design for the SPS package that meets the requirements of the project in safety, reliability, operability and maintainability throughout its 40yr service life.

Key responsibilities of this position include:
• Ensure SPS ICSS system design minimizes the impact on the environment in line with project requirements.
• Primary objective is to deliver a fully consistent and homogeneous Subsea ICSS by enforcing the ICSS standardisation.
• Have detailed understanding and knowledge of ICSS System design including Process Control and Asset Management System. Have experience of working with an ICSS manufacturer in a development role
• Preferably have knowledge and experience of the operation and design of Yokogawa Centum based control systems
• Have knowledge and experience of the operation and design of AB PLC based control systems
• Have knowledge of the operation of typical subsea control system Master Control Stations (MCS) (preferably but not essentially GE Vetco Gray)
• Ensure company standardization policy is adhered to resulting in a seamless integration of the SPS ICSS package with the CPF.
• Have knowledge to determine function requirements from Project Documentation (standard applications, functional analysis and control narratives etc.), produce application specifications, and participate in their development and test processes.
• Support/advise the project team and Contractors on ICSS system design, construction and interface with the Subsea Control System and the CPF ICSS to meet project requirements.
• Have understanding of the design aspects of other engineering disciplines including process, electrical, instrumentation, Telecommunication etc.
• Conducts inspection and factory acceptance tests on behalf of Company at ICSS vendor premises.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations as required.
• Ensure that project specifications are complied with and deviations are substantiated in line with project procedures.
• Organize and plan technical discipline reviews as required.
• Any job specifically identified by the Engineering Manger to seek the technical completeness/organization of the discipline work
• Ensure project deliverables and activities associated with the SPS ICSS design are achieved in accordance with project milestone dates, budget and technical requirements of BOD.
• Direct/advise Contractors on all aspects of design, construction, installation and offshore hookup and commissioning of the SPS ICSS to meet project requirements.
• Ensure interface requirements with the subsea facilities and CPF.
• Ensure operations and maintenance requirements are incorporated in the design.
• Provide guidance and input into Contractor strategies/procedures and specifications with respect to ICSS system for design, procurement, construction, installation and offshore commissioning of SPS ICSS and the interface with the SPS Package.
• Review and comment of Contractor / Supplier documentation in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively within INPEX organization to achieve alignment on strategies and documentation required to achieve objectives.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The following Qualifications and Experience are a requirement of this position:
• Tertiary Engineering Degree
• Min 10yrs experience in process control and safety system design of Offshore Oil and Gas Facilities preferably with some experience associated with subsea control systems.
• High awareness of safe working practices associated with design, construction, pre-commissioning, installation and offshore hookup and commissioning of offshore facilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Excellent written skills in English.
• Ability to work with different disciplines and cultures.
