The Role:
This is a great opportunity to work as part of our clients Integrity & Fabric Maintenance team based in Great Yarmouth. You will be responsible for the planning, co-ordination and management of all asset integrity inspections for both onshore and offshore facilities, including the topside structures, pressure system static equipment and pipeline riser inspections. Alongside you shall be reviewing and challenging inspection strategy procedures and new technologies to ensure accurate cost effective inspection results.

You will be responsible for SNS(S) Topside Inspection delivery with a combined team of 15. You must be able to plan and organise your work, be a good communicator, self motivated and be an active team player. Whilst this role is office based there will be a requirement to travel offshore on occasions and to the clients site at Bacton.

Key responsibilities include
• Ensuring our annual plan is constructed from equipment due dates, review of historical data, selecting an appropriate inspection technique. Planning, developing and maintaining a strategic 5 year plan
• Preparation and organisation of the integrity inspection scope of work for all facilities seeking additional guidance from integrity engineers as required
• Control implementation of inspection and specialist sub contractors; responsible for managing all inspection related costs and ensure value for money is achieved, checking invoices before final payment, undertaking quality audits and responsible for ensuring the health safety and welfare of the subcontractors is met at all times whilst on our assets
• Responsible for the management, review , supervision and approval of external studies by specialist contractors
• Fulfil the role of team member within the ‘Competent Body’ (RBI Team) to meet the expectations of onshore PSSR & COMAH Scheme for Bacton Terminal and the expectations within IPPPS. As a team member, ensure the RBI Team underpins these requirements and demonstrate the activities of the Competent Body.
• Act as team member & meeting chairman to the RBI Team for both onshore and offshore assets, meeting regularly to fulfill the expectations of the RBI Team terms of reference to demonstrate competent management of asset integrity.
• Inspection quality, ensuring all inspection reports are fully reviewed for clarity and accuracy and fulfillment of scope. Undertake periodic audit of the reports to ensure required quality is maintained
• Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining KPI’s, producing an annual topside inspection statement to directly support the Annual Summary Reports
• Assist the Integrity Engineers in the categorisation and assessment of ad-hoc inspections and repair orders in terms of priority, severity and accuracy
• Provide inspection technique and methodology advice to field inspection technicians where required, and perform onsite inspection tasks. Ensuring compliance with all safety critical equipment and utilizing the most appropriate inspection techniques
• Have knowledge of the latest PSSR regulations, test and inspection techniques
• Comprehensive knowledge of inspection and non-destructive testing methods with a sound knowledge of Oil & Gas processes, engineering standards, relevant legislation requirements and management principles.
• The individual would ideally have an engineering background to HNC standard and 10 years experience within the Oil and Gas industry
