The Role:
(Only Azerbaijani ctiziens are needed)
Key accountabilities - Act as a technical lead for I&PS engineering related activities on equipment and systems associated with safety instrumented functions, e.g. ICSS (PSD/ESD/F&G), BMS, etc. - Lead the delivery of CASIS Project objectives - Support HAZOP and LOPA as I&PS subject-matter expert - Deliver optimum performance from I&PS perspective by supporting equipment defect elimination, Root Cause Failure Analysis, problem solving and trouble shooting - Accountable for technical review and approval of plant and equipment modifications on safety systems, including development and approval of repair options - Responsible for the approval of I&PS related equipment maintenance strategies and planned maintenance routines - Deliver a long term sustained I&PS engineering capability within the Discipline Engineering Team. - Provide I&PS engineering specialist input to developing systems and processes to ensure safety, integrity and operational efficiency. - Liaise with the Regional Technical Leadership to ensure consistent application of engineering standards. - Lead the implementation of relevant support contracts and subsequent contract management - Progress Engineering Queries (EQs) to increase safety and maximize system and equipment availability and reliability

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential Education - Unviersity degree in a relevant Engineering discipline, e.g., Instruments, Control/Automation, Process/Process Safety.
Essential experience and job requirements - Minimum of 8 years’ practical experience in Engineering - Chartered Engineer or working towards membership with an appropriate engineering institution. - Experience in oil/gas industry and export pipelines. - Proven history of I&PS engineering on equipment and systems. - Understanding of applicable industry codes - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Strong health, safety and environmental focus and commitment - Ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision - Self motivated and able to work both independently and as a good team player - Aerbaijani citizenship is required.

Desirable criteria & qualifications - Experience of working in multi-cultural environments - Experience of coaching and mentoring foreign nationals. - Experience of working with little support in remote locations
