PLEASE NOTE: This is an Agency position based in Teesside.

The Instrument Designer reports to the Lead Control & Instruments Engineer and is accountable for executing assigned work in accordance with the applicable Project Procedures and Standards, including Project Procedures on Safety and Quality Control, within the man hour and cost budgets and the project schedule targets.

You will be required to:

Liaise with the Project Co-ordinating Engineer regarding the interpretation of Client's Specifications and Standards.
Review the project execution developed by the Cost and Planning Department.

Liaise with the Process Engineering Department at the initial design investigation stage where equipment has a particular influence on process design philosophy, during the equipment selection stage and during project execution.

Develop specification and prepare material requisitions for control
