The Role:
Basic Purpose of Job:
Primarily to assist the instrument focal point assigned to the a tie-back project with the delivery of the FEED studies and deliverables, and where required also provide assistance with discipline design checking on other minor project works. The study work shall involve a review to control systems, evaluation of existing instruments for re-use and preparation of reports and estimates related to the FEED study.

Main duties:
The incumbent shall be required to accept responsibility as job focal point engineer on projects deemed suitable for his/her control.
Involvement in Feed Study engineering type activities and the creation of engineering workpacks including the production of: engineering design narratives, instrument data sheets, equipment procurement documents and specifications.
Preparation of estimates, liaison with vendors and suppliers, attendance at witness testing and providing engineering support during site commissioning.
Contribute to the development of scopes of work from Basis Of Design documents.
Delivery of instrument scope including changes to scope, in accordance with project plans

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
North Sea oil and gas experience gained in a design environment with an engineering contractor or operator.
