The Company:
Our Client is the largest LNG producing company in the world, with an annual LNG production capacity of 42 million tonnes per annum (MTA), safely and reliably delivering LNG to customers around the globe from world-class facilities in Qatar.

The Role:
Please note:
Job Assignment anticipated to start on first week of January 2016
Only applicants with Oil & Gas & Petrochemical experience will be considered
Only applicants with the good level English language (reading & writing) will be considered

Please note that this is a SINGLE/Residential status contract
Work Schedule: Sunday to Thursday; 8 hours/day
Paid 20 days holiday/year

Roles at this level are all involved in applying trade skills to the planned maintenance, installation and repair of Company plant and equipment. They provide work direction to Company’s technicians & contracted technicians and work with limited supervision, but have access to advice and guidance if needed. They are responsible for completing work according to allocated timeframes and to high craft standards and have a role in providing on the- job training for Company’s technician.

1. Work Direction:
• Provide work direction to Company’s technicians & contracted technicians and monitor progress in order to meet agreed work schedules and deadlines.

2. Routine & Non-Routine Tasks:
• Undertake routine and non-routine planned maintenance, installation and repair activities, under work assignment, with review of results on completion, ensuring compliance with craft standards and timely completion.

3. Problem Resolution:
Identify and diagnose potential problems during course of normal duties and resolve those within own capability and escalates those beyond.

4. Spares & Consumables:
• Ensure proper and adequate supplies of spare parts and consumables are available for planned activities in order maintain continuity of work progress

5. Activity Reporting:
• Provide feedback on work undertaken, both verbally and by completion of worksheets, “work order/task sheet” to facilitate the monitoring of work progress and highlight areas of concern.

6. Tool & Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain tools and equipment in optimum condition to prevent unnecessary interruptions to work programs and protect the value of Company assets.

7. Safety & Housekeeping:
• Ensure that the workplace is kept in a clean state and that all work is carried out in full compliance with approved occupational health and safety procedures.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge and Skills :
Role holders will have gained a depth and breadth of expertise that enables them to undertake routine and non-routine maintenance activities. They will also have exhibited team leader potential, a strong commitment to health, safety, environment and quality issues and be able to communicate effectively
in written and spoken English.

Education and Experience:
Completion of secondary education (12 years), followed by either the completion of an OJT program (see Technician position Education and Experience requirements), or a minimum of 4 years direct maintenance
experience in the oil and gas sector.
