The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Take a supporting role in ensuring the success of the organizations key commercial projects.
Take primary responsibility in Perth Office for the day-to-day contact with internal and external stakeholders in planning and implementing project risk management and insurance strategy.
Ensure Insurance Coordinator is timely briefed on the progress, risks and opportunities to adequately take actions.
Participate in the strategic and business planning processes if required
Identify commercial risks in the identified projects
Identify potential loss exposures, and find means of controlling the potential losses.
Select best method or combination of methods to mitigate losses.
Planning, evaluating, negotiating risk transfer strategies and provide recommendations to senior management.
Develop and/or improve various risk management procedures
Implement the approved project risk management and insurance strategy as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Be Degree qualified in a relevant field
Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization including the head office and outside vendors, attorneys, engineers, claims personnel, joint venture partners, lenders, any governmental bodies as related to insurance responsibilities.
Minimum five years recent experience with oil and gas or energy insurance/risk management activities. (Preferably, insurance broker or underwriter)
Need to be familiar with insurance and reinsurance market, particularly in the upstream and downstream energy.
Need to have experience of contract review and risk allocation.
Ability to deal with difficult situations and urgent requirements
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Organizational skills to coordinate multiple tasks
Attention to details and quality of work produced, ensuring excellence and always seeking ways to improve outputs
Ability to manage competing priorities
