The Company:
Our Client is an independent Australian oil and gas company with a global presence playing a key role in supplying energy to our region.

They are one of the world’s leading producers of liquefied natural gas, helping meet the demands for cleaner energy from Japan, China, Korea and other countries in the Asia Pacific region.

The Role:
This role will be located in Singapore initially for planning for around 2 months, and will then be based in South Korea for up to 6 months.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Develop Logistics plans and conduct analysis for international drilling campaigns.
• Develop viable logistics options, conduct analysis and recommend a preferred option for a campaign. This includes: interpret business and customer needs; assess campaign requirements and constraints; estimate provisioning lead times and contractor capacity; and conduct reconnaissance and technical Logistics estimates of services and support infrastructure.
• Communicate verbal and written Logistics plans and implementation schedules to cross-function stakeholders and contractors. This includes writing scopes of work and conducting technical evaluations of contracted services.
• Provide expert Materials Management advice, applying proven relevant competence in materials supply, transport, warehousing, disposal, supply base operations to deliver materials in full on time at the lowest total cost.
• Provide Integrated Logistics advice, applying proven relevant competence covering at least two of the following disciplines: People Logistics, Air transport, Land transport, Marine Logistics and Facilities Management.
• Lead and handover a Logistics implementation schedule through to campaign start-up to cost and schedule. This includes completing all pre-campaign planning and ensuring all materials, equipment and personnel are available and/or mobilised to meet committed schedules.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Relevant proven experience in planning, leading and managing domestic and international Logistics. It is desirable that this be in the O&G industry
• Proven leadership and communication skills of small to medium teams and contractors
• Relevant formal training. A bachelor degree is desirable.
