The Role:
Purpose:

Implement the inspection programme; manage the workscopes being undertaken on the asset wrt timing, issue and resources; ensure anomalies found in the execution of the inspection programme are dealt with and ensure results are reported in a correct manner.

Primary Functions:

•Work towards Topside Integrity Team Goals and NSBU critical operating tasks.
•Comply with legislation applicable to the asset.
•Work within the asset annual inspection budget spend and update forecasts.
•Evaluate the consequences of failure and degradation mechanisms associated with the asset.
•Implement the asset inspection programmes via the maintenance management system (SAP) and ensure that changes to the programme are managed (ZC notifications).
•Preparation and implementation of integrity programmes and issue of workpacks.
•Review completed workscopes received from offshore.
•Co-ordinate offshore integrity activities and NDT contractor activities.
•Analyse results of inspection, corrosion monitoring and vibration programmes.
•Work within the asset anomaly and inspection deferral systems/procedures.
•Member of the asset interdisciplinary Asset Integrity/Corrosion Management (AICM) Team.
•Administer material failure investigations and trend degradation.
•Preparation of monthly and annual asset integrity reports.
•Act as inspection focal point for the preparation of all asset shutdown activities.
•Responsible for the preparation of monthly inspection attainment performance metrics and annual summary reports.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Significant experience in pipework/vessel/structural inspection programmes.
-Fully conversant with UK regulatory environment, e.g. PSSR, PSR, Safety Case etc.
-Strong team working skills.
-Accomplished planning and organisational skills.
-Effective communication and networking skills.
-Ability to work independently and fill the role of Lead Integrity Engineer as and when required.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
-Educated to degree level or satisfactory equivalent e.g. HND/HNC plus NDT qualifications/experience and/or vocational certificates.
-Offshore experience within an inspection team environment.
-A member of a professional body e.g. British Institute of NDT.
-Track record of continuous professional development e.g. Chartered/Incorporated/Associated Engineer via a recognised engineering body.
