The Role:
Fircroft are seeking a Senior Integrity Engineer for a contract for an Oil & Gas company within the UK
Contract Duration – 6-9 Months

Duties:
Responsible for all structural integrity management activities (updating the RAs, executing inspections, results review, remediation etc)
Collate and review Results from all activities performed for Integrity
Management of key vendors who support structural integrity
Ensure all legislative requirements for the fixed structures and floating structures are incorporated into the integrity strategy
Keep current the integrity plan for structures systems including the marine requirements of the classification society and associated rules
Develop budget estimates for planned structural inspections
Liaise with planning dept. to ensure all structural inspections are toll gate approved and they are included within the overall field planning.
Participate in Shutdown planning and supervise Integrity inspection issue resolution during shutdowns
Keep current the process equipment integrity strategy. Employ best industry practices inclusive of Risk Based Methodologies and specify the selection of most effective inspection techniques / methods
Participate as technical authority in safety and risk type studies Hazop, Hazid, JRAs etc.
Participate in IMT drills as required
Will be required to accept and participate within Incident Management Team (IMT). Has to accept being a part of the IMT Rota and perform duties as allocated. Must be willing to be "on call" during duty IMT period.
Periodic review and update to critical documents such as WSE's, Emergency Response Manuals, Performance Standards
Coordinate required inspections (ROV, RAT etc) for structures. Determine best methods for inspections (Diving / ROV / Side Scan Sonar etc.) and plan / organize accordingly. Work closely with pipelines engineer to ensure any subsurface inspections of pipelines are included as part of the integrated subsurface inspection plan
Manage the Corrosion Protection System (CP) for fixed structures, jack-up legs, hulls and moorings
Develop manage and maintain the weight control for all facilities
Monitor the integrity of the subsurface and topside coatings systems. Liaise with FM coordinator to ensure that all FM requirements are prioritized and included in the field wide FM plan
Manage the structural models for both fixed and floating systems. Organize updates to the models as modifications or loadings change to assess consequences of any changes
Review inspection results for both above water and in water surveys
Anomaly assessment / management
Fitness for Purpose assessments as required
Repairs Management as required (liaise with vendors etc.)
Raise or participate for all MOCs associated with structural repairs or Modifications
Produce any required submission to the Verification body and UK regulators
Work closely with Operations department for resolution technical issues as identified
Act as Competent person (System Custodian) for Pipelines
Acts as system custodian for pipelines and prepare monthly and annual system custodian reports
Responsible for all pipeline integrity management activities (updating the RAs, executing inspections, corrosion management activities, results review etc)
Keep current the pipeline integrity strategy and plans. Employ best industry practices inclusive of Risk Based Methodologies and specify the selection of most effective inspection techniques / methods
Collate and review Results from all pipeline related activities (maintenance, tests, repairs etc) performed
Management of key vendors who support pipeline integrity (BPA, LR etc.)
Develop budget estimates for planned pipeline inspections and other activities (e.g. AC induced corrosion mitigation system)
Liaise with the planning dept. to ensure all pipelines are toll gate approved and they are included within the overall field planning.
Participate as technical authority in safety and risk type studies Hazop, Hazid, RAs etc.

Coordinate pipeline inspections for onshore and offshore pipelines. Liaise with Structural engineer to ensure underwater pipeline Inspections are coordinated and executed with structural inspections as much as feasible (side scans, ROV inspections, upheaval or freespan surveys)
Supervise pigging operations / cleaning / gauging/ intelligent pigging
Liaise with chemicals vendor to ensure chemical treatment programs are efficient and effective and meet the performance targets specified
Review the results of chemical sampling to ascertain impacts / remedial actions required
Implement improvement actions for chemical treatments
Pipeline anomalies assessment / management
Fitness for Purpose assessments as required
Lead RCAs for pipelines / failure Investigation
Repairs Management as required
Raise or participate for all pipeline MOCs
Production of annual pipelines reports
Produce any required submission to the Verification body and UK regulators
Liaison and attend meetings with Regulators and executing any follow up actions if required
Work closely with Operations department for resolution of flow assurance issues as identified
Participate in Shutdown planning and supervise Integrity inspection issue resolution during shutdowns
