The Company:
Our Client is a major petrochemical company in Qatar.

The Role:
Development and Execute AR Audit Plan:
• Assist the Internal Audit Manager in the development of the annual AR internal audit plan, ensuring that plan address areas of risk that have significant impact to Muntajat
• Identify those activities subject to audit coverage, evaluate their
significance, and assess the degree of inherent risk in the activity in terms of cost, schedule, and quality
• Lead audit engagements in the AR in accordance with the audit plan
• Ensure that the engagement schedule is followed and is completed within the prescribed time frame. Recommend audit scope changes based on
testing results.
• Develop and revise audit work programs, which address Muntajat risk areas
• Perform audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues,
developing criteria, and reviewing and analyzing evidence


Develop and communicate Audit Results:
• Communicate internal audit objectives, plans and key findings and recommendation to Muntajat management, and potentially to audit committee
• Prepare audit reports and other required deliverables for distribution to management
• Recommend corrective action and process and internal control improvements
• Responsible for the evaluation of audit results and tracking the status of
audit open issues


Special Projects:
• Establish and monitor accomplishments of objectives directed toward increasing the Department’s ability to assist Muntajat management in achieving organization objectives
• Complete special projects as required, including the possible interfacing with external auditors or outside auditing consultants
• Represent Internal Audit on organizational project team

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field from a
recognized university.
• Certified auditing designation and/or CPA is preferable
• MBA preferred
• Minimum 8 years of full-time experience in auditing, accounting, or business analysis
• Chemical and/or petrochemical experience preferred
