My Client is a world leader in construction, design, and engineering contracting with a reputation for delivering high quality, technically-advanced, reliable facilities.
We are currently seeking a Lead Planning Engineer to join Foster Wheeler at our construction site at Teesside.



Requirements
A proven track record in engineering and construction of power stations, refinery, oil & gas, petrochemical or similar facilities.
Experience of EPC projects.
Experience of construction site work in the United Kingdom.
A pro-active approach to solving problems and getting the job done.
Excellent communication skills.
Expert with Primavera P6 and spreadsheets, with database capability.


Responsibilities
Provide a complete planning service to the site management team, including:
Development of detailed construction schedules.
Development of construction progress measurement systems and reporting of progress and productivity.
Co-ordination of schedule interfaces between subcontractors' activities.
Provide regular forecasting of project schedule including key milestones.
Lead regular schedule review meetings with the project team.
Production of weekly and monthly progress reports to the project management team.
Mentoring and development of locally hired Planning team members, where appropriate

Willing to develop junior staff
