The Role:
oTechnical Authority for Maintenance and Integrity issues relating to Instrument & Controls Equipment and systems.
oManagement of Instrument & Controls Integrity issues.
oEnsure compliance with industry standards and directives
oBe the final decision maker on any technical disputes
oProvide Instrument & Controls Technical Support and advice to Offshore Maintenance Teams.
oLiaison and co-ordination with Asset Teams, sub-contractors and vendors.
oTimely delivery and quality of all deliverables against agreed plans and budgets.
oProvide specialist support with regard to the required inspection, fault analysis, repair/remedial strategy and acceptance testing of equipment returned for investigation repair and/or overhaul.
oAnalyse and diagnose plant and equipment problems.
oAssign or undertake other roles and responsibilities, within competence, of other designated roles within the organisation.
oProvide day-to-day onshore Instrument & Controls technical support.
oProvide Technical input/approval for proposed modifications.
oParticipate in support call-out rota with other disciplines.
oContract Management of specified sub-contractors.
oContinuous review of SNS specifications and standards to ensure operational needs are met.
oProvide support to Engineering Group as Technical Authority on ad hoc issues.
oEnsure Instrument & Controls safe working at all times
oIssue resolution if under dispute
oMaintain Instrument & Controls integrity
oEnsure compliance with industry and CoP standards
oHave 24hr availability to support operations
oHSE liaison

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
oBudget awareness
oPlanning and scheduling awareness
oSound and broad technical background
oExtensive Oil & gas experience.
oPrevious experience in a supervisory role.
oWork experience in both Contractor and Operator roles.
oExtensive industry contacts at Vendor and peer level.
