The Role:
An opportunity is available for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to the operation and maintenance team for 3 months contract.
The role will suit experienced Mechanical engineering professionals who have a passion for applying their engineering knowledge and expertise into practical work instructions that have an impact to the day to day operations and maintenance of a plant.

These role will focus on the development of mechanical maintenance work instructions derived from RCM outputs in line with company templates.

Duties & Responsibilities

•Liaise with Engineering staff to ensure comprehensive understanding of the relevant Performance Standards (PS) and Generic Maintenance Strategies (GMS)
•Validate the Performance standards and Generic Maintenance Strategies against the reference standards and raise anomalies for clarification
•Liaise with engineering and maintenance staff to agree the maintenance actions (RCM outputs) are appropriate for subclasses identified and are aligned with the PS and GMS detail
•Compiling, building resourced and sequenced primary action job plans in format aligned with company format for submission and approval by the Company subject matter experts (SME)
•Authoring, Technical draft ‘Maintenance Work instructions’ and ‘Integrity Critical Work Instruction’ using the company provided templates, tools and processes.
•Completing a Quality assurance check on all procedures prior to submission and approval by company subject matter experts
•Liaise with the maintenance team to monitor the development of work instructions drafting and approving process and identify areas of improvement / focus.
•Development of generic maintenance plans and instructions as appropriate from the GMS studies.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Degree Qualified Mechanical Engineer
•Current specialised knowledge and experience in maintenance of Mechanical Equipment within the Hydrocarbons Industry
•Have a strong collaborative approach to facilitate the free exchange of information and experience.
•Demonstrate alignment to company's values and behaviours
