The Role:

Your mandate will be to develop, organise and support the implementation of the Maintenance Plan and Procedures for all Rotating and Static Mechanical Equipment and assure compliance with and continuously enhance the Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) strategy for Mechanical equipment. Key responsibilities will include:
- Collect maintenance operational data and review with a selected RCM team to determine the optimal maintenance plan for the equipment, enter the plan into the CMMS, implement the work, analyse the job history, reiterate the procedure when necessary in order to systematically and optimally implement a Reliability Based Maintenance Strategy
- Develop, organise, support and continuously improve the implementation of the Maintenance Plans for Mechanical Equipment, co-ordinate resources to ensure the safe and efficient execution of preventive, predictive and overhaul maintenance activities
- Identify required spare parts and consumables; provide data and information for input to the Logistics & Procurement database in Oracle to enable purchasing of items, establish the structured catalogue, set minimum, maximum and reorder levels
- Verify the purchase specifications against the OEM data, cost and classification codes, etc., for spare parts and consumables, migrate and update the inventory records in the Oracle CMMS by creating the Asset BOM for each item TAG and directly linking to the PMR work instruction
- Develop and maintain the CMMS by provision of new and/or updated Mechanical rotating equipment data, work instructions, SOP, and safe working practices, in order to identify and record the inventory of assets, facilitate planning and execution of work, identification and tracking of spare parts and consumables usage, and determine maintenance costs
- Develop failure analysis and reporting utilising the CMMS to capture the cause of failure, failure type, repair or replacement costs, and the remedial actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and develop design changes to eliminate these or identify replacement equipment that will provide an improved availability.
- Identify means of improving maintenance effectiveness through the implementation of Predictive Maintenance techniques.
- Monitor the implementation of the Mechanical equipment maintenance plan and prepare reports on any deviations from the plan for management information and action.
- Prepare maintenance KPI reports identifying both craft and equipment performance for management to review, discuss and approve improvement initiatives.
- Manage plant shutdowns by effective coordination and use of the shutdown time to minimize additional shutdowns / shutdown time
- Monitor the financial performance of maintenance so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon
- Participate in Identifying work to be contracted out, specify the Scope of Work (SoW), Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and pricing schedules to be incorporated in the contract document(s)
- Participate in review of technical bids in order to facilitate the assessment of the bids and provide commercial estimates for commercial evaluations
- Provide input to contract establishment and implementation with procurement and operations

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• A degree in an appropriate Engineering Discipline or Production Engineering
• Knowledge of the upstream Oil and Gas industry.
• At least 15 years’ experience directly to maintenance of utilities and production processes, plant and equipment with the majority of that experience obtained in field operations,
• Experience 7 years at a senior supervisory level.
• Possess strong analytical, logical and People management skills
• Ability to communicate in both Thai and English are essential
