The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
The key responsibilities for this role are:
• Support the interface and verification and of the Offshore Safety Cases, Marine HES and Pipeline Management Plans and confirm execution of Project standards via offshore Marine HES personnel.
• Development the Marine health and safety documentation where appropriate in support of Interfaces and provide advice to support the project’s marine asset GUFT Project Managers and HES Advisor’s
• Directly supporting teams in the coordination of Hazids, Risk Assessments, pre-start up safety reviews and interface processes with a focus on Health and Safety systems, in particular permit to work, SIMOP’s plans, Marine Safe Work Practices, Emergency Response Interface, Security and incident management and criteria stipulated in agreed contractor plans for the Marine Environment.
• Providing Marine Health and Safety regulatory compliance advice and support with regulatory compliance system for offshore packages.
• Support offshore/marine incident Investigations, field audits and inspections on behalf of the team and ensuring notifications, HES performance measures, reports and actions are reported, recorded and closed accordingly
• Engaging with Projects internal communities of practice for Marine Safe Work Practice, Emergency Response, Security, Permit to Work, Incident and Case Management and Occupational Health processes to ensure a consistent approach from a Marine perspective.
• Oversee Marine expectations for Training and Competence to ensure Contractors align with Industry standards and feedback to Management on Compliance and deliver training on an adhoc basis in support of an Incident and Injury Free Culture
• Liaise with IIF Advisors and IIF Coordinator on Marine requirements to ensure Marine contracting strategy is appropriate for IIF.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum HES Diploma, HES Degree preferred.
• 15 years (5 years Marine offshore).
• HUET, Medically fit for offshore travel.
• HES 10 years with offshore working background in particular, Heavy Lift and Marine construction activities.
• Previous experience in a Supervisory capacity required due the level working at.
• Large Projects experience a bonus but not essential as long as worked in busy SIMOP’s environment.
• Good Influencing skills and communicator.
