The Company:
Our Client's subsea expertise is based on more than 75 years of design, installation, and manfacturing of subsea equipment, control systems and related products/ services. Service to the Oil & Gas industry began in the 1920s.

The Role:
Your core duties will be to provide materials and corrosion advice and support to clients and to Company projects. This requires a working knowledge of technical standards and codes of practice such as NACE, NORSOK etc. As part of this you will be expected to assist in developing cost effective life extension solutions.
You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the UK legislation in relation to offshore installations (DCR, PFEER, PSR etc) and onshore sites (COMAH, PSSR etc).
Due to the diverse and complex nature of asset integrity management it is essential that you are able to be flexible within an integrated team of specialists.

Operations support engineering, including modifications, maintenance and inspection.
To be aware of and adhere to the Company values and leadership approach
Develop client specific Corrosion Management Strategies.
Support and develop Client corrosion control practices and remedial work programs.
Review corrosion mitigation and monitoring activities.
Perform, facilitate or review corrosion risk assessments.
Review Cathodic Protection systems on Client assets and new build projects and advise on retrofits / design as required.
Carry out audits to verify the corrosion and integrity management system continuing suitability.
Identify, develop and publish integrity metrics as required.
Develop Client specific chemical management systems and monitor for continued integrity performance as required.
Support Client and Projects with material selection for replacement modifications or new works.
Review corrosion mitigation and monitoring activities in the field to identify needed system modifications or procedural changes.
Produce annual CM reports as required.
Act as focal point for corrosion management expertise.
Participate in external activities to ensure current developments in corrosion management techniques and practices are being applied.
Carry out audits to verify the corrosion and integrity management system.
