The Company:
Our client is a leading seabed-to-surface engineering, construction and services contractor to the offshore energy industry worldwide, currently engaged in some of the worlds most technically advanced and high profile projects.

The Role:
We are seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers to join the company on a staff or contract basis, to support the execution a wide variety of construction and IRM projects. Based in the Africa & Gulf of Mexico, London office which is located in Sutton (south west London) supporting ongoing projects or one of our Vessell Support Teams (VST).

•Technical responsibility for mechanical ROV and intervention content of tenders and projects.
•Mechanical engineering design and development for remote systems and intervention tooling.
•Preparation of tender specifications and costs.
•Preparation of design specifications.
•Sub Contractor management.
•Preparation and checking of manuals and procedures.
•Preparation and checking of design calculations.
•Manufacture, testing and commissioning support.
•ROV and Intervention project support.
•Technical contact with client.
•Ensure continuity of lessons learned for ongoing and future projects
• Undertake FAT and SIT testing as and when required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality awareness.
•Experience of engineering design and analysis packages.
•Understanding of the practical aspects of design with regard to manufacture and operation.
•Ability to work to deadlines and budgets.
•Good working knowledge of industry standards, specifications and guidelines.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•BSc in an appropriate engineering discipline.
