The Company:
Our client is a global leader in the design and delivery of infrastructure, power and major engineering projects around the world. Their clients come to them for a wide range of advice, resources and skills - in engineering, maintaining infrastructure, managing construction, planning and strategic thinking.

The Role:
Urgently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with extensive Combined Cycle Power Plants (CCGT) / Gas Turbines background, this is an immediate requirement to work on current projects for a large scale Power Plant construction; you’ll ideally have expertise to provide a full range of power plant design engineering services.

This is a 2 year secondment, office based role in Riyadh, with accommodation, car & fuel, afterwards position will be relocated back to the UK or another international assignment.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer your main duties will involve:
• Designing and developing the complete plant solution; this includes gas, steam, cogeneration
• Designing, engineering and manufacturing new solutions, replacement and custom parts, Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment and more
• Reviewing turbine designs for applications involving new or used equipment

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
As a Design Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) you will have experience:
• You’ll ideally have relevant design experience on either Combined Cycle Power Plants or Thermal Power Plants.
• Mechanical Design experience of BOP, Boiler or large rotating plant systems e.g. steam turbines, large pumps and their associated systems. .
• Experience based in a design office.
