The Company:
Our Client's subsea expertise is based on more than 75 years of design, installation, and manfacturing of subsea equipment, control systems and related products/ services. Service to the Oil & Gas industry began in the 1920s.

The Role:
•Initiate and/or proactively participate in specific operational/safety related activities such as; Design Reviews, Risk Analysis, HAZOP, FMECA, Reliability Studies, etc.
•Organize his/her manpower allocation to meet agreed project timescales. Control allocated engineering time to meet project deadlines.
•Conduct engineering design reviews to establish the solution.
•Train subordinates to develop our Client's product and process awareness.
•Approve engineering designs for manufacture.
•Evaluate external interfaces with our Client's equipment.
•Visit customers to verify technical details of orders.
•Ensure that project design documentation is correctly stored.
•Deputise for Engineering Supervisors / Engineering Manager.
•Represent our Client's Engineering at Customer meetings.
As necessary, perform other duties, requiring essentially the same level of skill & responsibility when required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
Ability to work offshore and overseas.
Demonstrable relevant design experience in oilfield equipment engineering.
Good working knowledge of Offshore working techniques and preferably will have had exposure to the Offshore working environment.
