The Senior Mechanical Integrity Technician will be responsible for chemical treatments and corrosion programs management and surveillance.

- Comply and fully participate with company Safety, Environmental and Health (HES) rules and regulations. Report all accidents, injuries, near misses, hazards to immediate supervisor or as per Company policy.
- Responsible for chemical treatment and corrosion programs management and surveillance including but not limited to chemical treatment maintenance and field surveys for products such as demulsifier, biocides, corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors etc.
- Coordinating and verifying chemical programs with chemical supplier and services vendor on daily basis.
- Coordinating chemical field trials.
- Corrosion monitoring including sampling and lab tests, surveillance of chemical treatments, surveillance of monitoring devices such as weight loss coupons, electrical resistance probes, linear polarization probes.
- To carry out field sampling and where required conduct field analysis work including quantitative and qualitative analysis of dissolved and undissolved constituents, physical parameters, etc.
- Ensure recording daily activities as required by the company and sometimes analyzing records and data according to OXY and Industry approved methods
- Ensure reports are forward promptly to the relevant authorities. Results falling outside usual norm are specifically brought to the recipient's attention. Maintain historical records and communicate quality metrics and data to appropriate departments.
- Ensure all monitoring and reports are conducted per schedule and procedures.
- Identify problem areas leading to out of spec product and report or recommend corrective actions.
- Assist Supervisor as when and where required.
- Additional duties will include system and continuous improvements, ensure compliance with all company and governmental rules and regulations regarding the handling, storage and use of treating chemicals.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• College Diploma preferred in Laboratory science (Chemistry) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience inclusive of Laboratory in Oil and gas Production, chemical treatment monitoring and maintenance.
• Knowledge of corrosion monitoring program such as Lab tests, pigging operations, Chemical treatments and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Chemical handling and safety aspects of chemical usage.
• Good Computer skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess driving License.
