The Company:
Our client is a Major International EPC Company executing industrial mega-projects in Canada.

This opportunity is open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents only. First consideration will be given to residents of Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Role:
PURPOSE AND SUMMARY OF SCOPE:
• Work with the existing 3D model developed in CATIA for the completion of the design drawings related to the powerhouse piping and HVAC systems.
• Preparation of quantities take-offs.
• Preparation of drawings, isometrics, data sheets and materials lists in accordance with the proper standards

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning and Organization
• Plan and deliver quality work on timely basis.

Engineering Operations
• Production of drawings as required and as directed by Lead Mechanical Engineer.
• Participation in review of contractor and vendor submissions.

Quality Assurance
Ensure that the quality of deliverables produced are in accordance with project and corporate requirements.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
• 5-7 years experience in the engineering consultant field.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Proficient with 2D and 3D AutoCAD software.
• Ability to generate material bill of quantities, and other related technical work.
• Experience with CATIA 3D modelling program an asset.

• Advanced written and verbal communication skills required to effectively interact with a variety of industry personnel;
• Ability to develop processes and articulate within the project organization;
• Ability to quickly assimilate new data, including highly technical information;
• Strong ability to use Microsoft applications such as word, excel, outlook, power point, etc.
