The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 30 Countries worldwide.In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Construction Stage.

The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Level Offshore Planner to join a leading oil and gas major here in Perth, Western Australia. This position will see you take responsibility for ensuring that all planning activities have satisfactorily incorporated the requirements of the project and the appropriate regulations. This also extends to the provision of effective construction planning and the co-ordination of the project teams including our contractors and sub-contractors.

Key Responsibilities required:
Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
To provide a complete planning, control and monitoring service to the Offshore project facilities team, covering all contractors and associated sub-contractors.
Co-ordination of planning effort provided by contractors and supervise/assist their planning engineers in developing Lv 3 schedules
Develop and maintain the overall offshore integrated schedule which sits in the Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
Closely monitor all aspects of the schedule, appraise & advise the Project Services Manager of progress and trends; make recommendations for preventive or corrective action in the event of any deviations from the program.
Liaise with the contractors and associated sub-contractors planning engineers; with regards to the status of agreed deliverables.
Present clear and concise planning documentation and reports on a regular basis, inclusive of bars charts and networks.
Attend progress/Co-ordination meetings
Provide an independent assessment of individual contractors progress
Assist the Operations team in development of a completions/systems handover and commissioning schedule
Maintain close integration with Project Control groups in other locations and input as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Key Qualification, Skills & Experience required:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field, or minimum 10 years planning in the Oil & Gas Industry
Proficient with Primavera
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of generally accepted planning method
All generally accepted project life cycle phases, and typical key deliverable requirements from each phase
