The Role:
Provide visible and effective leadership
•Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner, providing effective information and maintaining required records
•To ensure operational integrity is being maintained and the risks are being managed to the principle of ALARP.
•Provide maintenance and operational technical support to the Asset.
•Manage and execute all relevant daily actions from the morning call, relating to the maintenance and operation of the Asset.
•Assist with finding solutions to equipment related malfunctions and failures and make recommendations to prevent recurrence.
•Provide support in providing maintenance strategy reviews and criticality analysis within the specific discipline.
•Identify critical spares requirement and recommend operational and critical spares holdings. Provide vendor support, including approval of workscopes and associated costs, when vendors are mobilised offshore to work on plant and equipment.
•Liaise closely with the Planning function to ensure all maintenance related workscopes are properly planned.
•Point of contact between the asset maintenance and operations team and the Operational Technical Authorities. The incumbent is expected to make regular visits to the asset
•Review impaired SCE ORA's beyond their original scheduled due date.
•Assure the day to day management of Asset's Safety Critical Elements against performance standard acceptance criteria.
•Ensure the initial suitability of any changes or modifications undertaken through the Engineering Change Control and Verification process.
•Review the suitability and undertake Risk Assessments on all deferred Safety Critical PM, CM & PMA's.
•Review all Independent Verification Body Remedial Action Recommendations raised during the SCE Verification process and agree close out action and scheduled completion date.
•Participate in Operational Risk Assessments when SCE impairment against the Performance Standard has occurred.
•Ensure all Safety Critical PMA assurance activities are planned, scheduled and executed in the CMMS on or by their scheduled due date.
•Assist the Maintenance Technical Authority in the preparation and submittal of annual SCE fitness for purpose assurance statements
•Review and update, asset specific discipline related integrity assurance processes and procedures.
•Carry out onshore / offshore survey / audits and answer site queries.
•Audit of CMMS as directed by Audit Guidelines.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
HNC / HND in relevant engineering discipline or appropriate experience
Knowledge of Asset safety case and maintenance requirements
Computer literate with keyboard skills in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and have a working knowledge of Prima Vera
Sound working knowledge of CMMS
Interrogate and manage maintenance related data within CMMS
Be competent in managing Third Party Vendors
Commercial awareness in order to validate quotes, invoices, etc
