The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
• Preparation of the Scope of Works of the LWD/DD/WL/ML Invitations To Tender Documents; close involvement with exploration petrophysicist and geoscientists in designing the logging services.
• Active involvement in the evaluation process of the LWD/DD/WL/ML services bids.
• Close involvement in setting up of field and office processes for generating, transmission, receipt and distribution of data from the drilling operation.
• Active involvement in the write-up of the Basis for Well Design documents and subsequent relevant documents.
• Delivery of well operations-related documentation for the drilling campaigns: Operational Geology manual to be used by well site geologists, well data receipt procedures, well data naming standards, RACI.
• Coordinate, with the contracted services providers, the delivery of Standard Operations Procedures for LWD/DD/WL/ML/coring activities.
• Active Involvement in the contingency plan process (brainstorming, documentation, decision making protocol).
• Participate in screening of Well Site Geologists, loggers and other contract services personnel as appropriate in the geoscience area.
• Effectively engage in business cost reduction initiatives.
• Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
• Ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times.
• Actively participate in Client/Company Safety programs and training as required.
• Participate in the Client/Company safety performance program

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Geoscience Degree
• Management of a team of contract wellsite geologists
• Planning and oversight of the geotechnical issues involved in exploration well drilling
• Ability to communicate closely with, and provide the interconnection with, the geoscience and drilling teams
• Ability to closely QC the product delivery of geoscience and drilling data from the drilling and geoscience contract services.
Key Experience Requirements
• Extensive Operations geology for drilling projects on the NorthWest Shelf of Western Australia
