The Company:

The Role:
Expert in general Petrophysics for Wireline and LWD applications
Must provide technical support and training and technical sales to worldwide geoscience and operational teams as well as to external operator clients
Able to assist in hands-on petrophysical interpretation and integration
Must be able to formulate solutions for technical challenges related to data acquisition, processing and interpretation/integration
Works as an innovator in developing new and improving existing acquisition, processing and interpretation applications and work flows in close collaboration with his/her geoscience peer group
Develops functional requirements documents for products from an acquisition and application view
Assists in developing relevant parts of sales presentations when focused upon on applications and ensures rigorous scientific correctness of such marketing materials
Assists in developing and assuring acquisition and application quality guidelines and deliverables
Assists in developing training courses focused on Petrophysics and/or instruments for delivering Petrophysical solutions
Handles special projects, as assigned

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in earth science or physics
17-20+ years’ experience depending on degree level 3+ year’s management or supervisory experience
Should have area of core expertise in LWD, Multi-component resistivity tools, stochastic interpretation methodologies and be recognized in the industry
Extensive knowledge of log interpretation and Petrophysics, including tool physics, wireline, core and LWD technologies
Experience in interpretation software
Candidate should have strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent communication skills
Strong organizational skills are required and affinity to technical management

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Operator experience a plus
