The Role:
Do you have solid experience providing technical guidance and a strong track record within Pipeline Engineering in the E&P business? Then you might be the Senior Pipeline Engineer we are looking for.

Area of Responsibilities
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Pipeline Engineer to join our Subsea Technology team in Gentofte. As Senior Pipeline Engineer you will be responsible for engineering matters concerning submarine pipelines systems for different projects.

Your main task will include to:
- Be responsible for performing reviews of all pipeline engineering and related deliverables from contractors, related to subsea pipelines and submarine pipeline systems on relevant projects, including technical tender evaluations;
- Develop links to existing DONG operations and ensure that experience and learning from existing pipeline operations is obtained from relevant parties and incorporated into the design;
- Integrity management and evaluation of pipeline systems in operation, plan and execute marine operations;
- Life extension of offshore pipelines;
- Intelligent Pigging (ILI);
- Ensure the quality of work is of the highest standard and that all tasks and targets are achieved within the project schedule/milestones;
- Participate in developing pipeline engineering concepts and strategies;
- Assist and participate in all project decision gate and technical reviews;
- Ensure that DONG´s technical and reporting requirements within the work specific field are implemented and duly updated.

Your profile
Ideally, you should hold a Masters or Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering, civil or process engineering. Moreover we expect your professional experience to include:
- Minimum of 10 years' experience within subsea and pipeline engineering (either in project or operations integrity support);
- Relevant pipeline systems experience on project, designed to North Sea codes and standards;
- Good communication skills, including oral and written reporting, must be fluent in English.

In addition experience is desired in the following areas:
- Practical operations and maintenance experience which can be brought into the design;
- Oil/gas production company experience, or alternatively a contractor/supplier;
- Experience in internal pipeline inspection and maintenance;
- Working with and managing engineering/contracting companies, fabricators and equipment suppliers;
- Oil/gas production company experience, or alternatively engineering or contractor/supplier;
- Self-motivated, team player with a strength to execute;
- Good communication skills, including oral and written reporting, must be fluent in English;
- Proficient computer skills with PC application packages, MS Project, MS Office, plus proficient in the use of relevant pipeline engineering software, including OLGA.
