The Company:
Our Oil & Gas Client is in need of a Senior Planner/Scheduler in Houston, Texas.

The Role:
Position Duties:


 Working closely with a multi-discipline team that reports directly to senior management, the Senior Planner/ Scheduler will serve as an integral member of the Worldwide Projects Group, which is responsible for helping guide the future success of Client’s Major Capital Projects.
 Carry out schedule assurance reviews/ peer reviews of project schedules (owner and contractors) in preparation of tollgate sanction
 Run schedule risk analysis workshops, and be able to use Primavera Risk Analysis (PertMaster) to build risk adjusted schedules to determine confidence levels for project success
 Develop (and present) PowerPoint presentations
 Manage summary schedules of Client’s Portfolio of Projects for corporate reporting.
 Develop corporate standards and procedures for Planning and Scheduling
 Mentor and assist new Project teams set up planning in early project phases.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Position Requirements:

 Skilled knowledge of Planning and Scheduling for Major Capital Projects in the Energy Sector (Upstream, Downstream and LNG)
 Skilled knowledge in the use and implementation of Oracle Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management Software
 Skilled knowledge of Risk Management and Risk Analysis using Primavera PertMaster
 Proven ability to review, analyze and carry out assurance activities on Contractor Schedules
 Proven ability to run (Cost) and Schedule Risk Assessments
 Experience in Cost Control, including Earned Value Management, Forecasting and Change
 Experience in Project Lessons Learned and Knowledge Management
 Knowledge of Primavera P6 Analytics business intelligence solution

Successful Candidate can Demonstrate:

 Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
 Able to present to senior executives and efficiently interact with a large number of internal company contacts across all regions.
