The Role:
It is the general responsibility of the Senior Planner / Scheduler to assist with; development of the baseline project plan, scheduling, forecasting, and change management, progressing of work and preparing reports for the Project Management Team.

In performing his/her duties, the Senior Planner / Scheduler will liaise closely with the various project teams and senior management.

The Senior Planner / Scheduler shall ensure that all planning and scheduling activities are executed in accordance with corporate requirements.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks
•Follow planning and scheduling procedures to accurately plan, schedule, forecast and progress work
•Responsible to supply planning and scheduling services to the Delivery Managers and facilitate schedule update meeting
•Participate in the Management of Change process for delivery managers’ area
•Identifying and/or processing of project trends and change through the Management of Change process and communicating impacts effectively
•Assist in providing project controls requirements into service and construction contracts
•Liaise with Contractor Project Controls representatives
•Responsible for the measurement of physical progress for work packages in multiple locations across the project and incorporating progress information back into the schedule
•Assist in the creation, implementation and maintenance of the project WBS
•Assist in developing project scheduling benchmarks from past and present projects
•Assist in developing a scheduling benchmarking program
•Assist in the training and development of Project Controls personnel

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Business, Financial, Engineering or Technical degree or equivalent years of specific relevant experience
•Minimum of 9 - 12 years planning and scheduling experience in oil industry
•Planning and scheduling experience on offshore oil and gas projects
•FPSO or TLWP experience
•High levels of persistence, curiosity and enthusiasm
•The candidate should be a self-starter, possess strong analytical skills, and enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
•Proficient in both written and spoken English
