The Role:
Job Dimensions:
Develop a detailed O’s & U’s planning with strong use of Schedule methodology.
Schedule risk analysis of detailed Contractor (Mechanical and piping, E&I, …) schedule.
Works with Contractors, Subcontractors, Project Management Team and with Various others team interfering with the O’s & U’s scope of works to generate, to update and to analyze critical Path.
Analysis, checking and validation of the progress reported by Supervisors/Contractors/Subcontractors.
Provide expert and strategic support, create and develop the detailed planning and scheduling of on O’s & U’s works (Decommissioning, Maintenance and Project works, Commissioning), from level 1 to level 4.

Principal Accountabilities:
Manage and lead the Scheduling and discipline reviews for the O’s & U’s works by:
- Implementing progress measurement for Construction, Precommissioning and Commissioning works; incorporate section weightings, manpower histograms, productivity calculations…
- Checking the logic of the plan chart produced for each Subcontractor’s work and/or received by each Subcontractor’s works.
- Ensuring that all interfaces activities are taken into account on the O’s & U’s Schedule
- Ensuring the Schedule reporting, progress reporting and the analyze on weekly and monthly bases.
- Proposing alternate schedule/planning to avoid and mitigate risks identified.
Provide schedule risk reviews and ensure that schedule risks register with associated mitigating actions are kept up-to-date.
Ensure that inherent schedule risk and interface with others works (out of scope lot 3A) are identified and integrated on O’s & U’s schedule.
Ensure Subcontractors’ or others parties schedule are adequately prepare, detailed and robust to meet the projects O’s & U’s Project Schedules and Target.
Issue out final integrated plan for contractor review and sign-off.
Good knowledge of physical progress measurement, ability to analyze, to check, and to validate the progress Participate in the schedule and progress daily/weekly report.
Maintain a database that will facilitate the scheduling discipline return of experience.
Highly knowledgeable of scheduling tools (proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project), and Microsoft software (Excel, words, powerpoint,…)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Technical knowledge and experience in Refining or Chemical Turnarounds.
Highly knowledgeable of scheduling tools (proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project).
Knowledge and experience of Refining or Chemical projects is highly desirable.

EDUCATION / TRAINING: Engineering degree or equivalent
KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE: Planning/scheduling experience on Refining or Chemicals (15 years mini, 20 preferred),
Planning/scheduling experience on Refining or Chemical projects is a bonus.
SPECIFIC SKILLS: Good working knowledge and experience of PRIMAVERA P6 and MS Project

English language required, knowledge of French and Dutch a plus.
